You’ll own the numbers, improve our processes, and ensure accurate, timely reporting. You’ll work closely with leadership to help drive operational excellence while building a platform that can scale. Description Ternium RCM is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Controller to be our first internal finance hire. This is a unique opportunity for a rising finance leader to lay the groundwork for all things accounting and finance at a rapidly growing, private equity-backed company that is transforming healthcare revenue cycle management. This isn’t just another Controller role. It’s a launchpad. You’ll be stepping into a clean-slate environment with the chance to build, shape, and scale the finance function from the ground up. You’ll partner with an engaged leadership team, gain visibility with our private equity sponsor, and play a central role in creating the financial backbone of a purpose-driven organization. Your work will directly influence how we scale, fund growth, and prepare for future financial leadership—laying the foundation for sound decision-making company-wide. What You’ll Do:

As Controller, you will be the architect and executor of Ternium’s accounting infrastructure. You’ll own the numbers, improve our processes, and ensure accurate, timely reporting. You’ll work closely with leadership to help drive operational excellence while building a platform that can scale.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Own the

Accounting Function :

Manage GL, AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and reporting. Build the

Infrastructure:

Redesign the chart of accounts, implement processes, and lead the shift from cash to accrual accounting.

Monthly Close & Reporting:

Lead monthly close; produce, refine, and elevate reporting packages.

Audit Readiness:

Manage preparation for the company’s first annual audit, including the PBC process and coordinating with external auditors.

Compliance & Controls:

Ensure GAAP compliance; manage external tax relationships and filings. Partner with

Leadership:

Translate financial data into business insights; provide clarity and context to company executives and our PE sponsor. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, welcomes ambiguity, and sees structure as a tool for growth. You won’t just execute a plan—you’ll write it.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone who is prepared and eager to take full ownership of a company’s finance function for the first time—and make it their own. CPA required 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior Controller, Director, or Senior Manager-level responsibility Proven ability to build processes, not just run them Private equity or high-growth company experience strongly preferred Familiarity with QuickBooks required; ERP experience a plus Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes High energy, proactive communicator with a builder mindset Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment This hybrid role requires being in the office 2-3 days per week.
