Automotive Controller Mount Airy Nissan 1994 Rockford Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030 Job Summary Mount Airy Nissan is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dealership accounting and be proficient in managing accounts receivable, cash management, and payroll processes. This role is critical in providing accurate financial reporting and analysis, supporting strategic decision-making within the organization. Duties Manage all aspects of the accounting department, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards. Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct account reconciliations and analyses to maintain accurate financial records. Supervise accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize liquidity. Utilize accounting software to streamline financial operations and reporting. Prepare and review payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting efforts. Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations and policies. Requirements Automotive Dealership iis preferred. Proven experience in governmental accounting or a similar role. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software systems; experience with [specific software] is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and reconciliation effectively. Strong written communication skills for financial report writing.
