The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Advanced Excel Skills Tax Strategy Detail-oriented Change agent Team player and strong intiative to improve processes and company financial position Sales and Use Tax Knowledge and Experience Duties Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Manage accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. Oversee technical accounting functions, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations. Implement and monitor internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) to safeguard company assets. Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and related departments to analyze financials and identify, propose, and implement strategies to increase profit margins. Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Maintain proficiency in accounting software to streamline financial processes. Ensure accurate regulatory reporting in compliance with federal and state laws. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting roles. Strong knowledge of financial report writing and regulatory reporting standards. Familiarity with technical accounting issues and SOX compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex financial information.
