Job Description
Director of Finance A fast-paced, growth-oriented organization is seeking a strategic and analytical Director of Finance to lead financial planning, cost accounting, and capital investment analysis across multiple operational sites. This leadership role will partner closely with executive and operational teams to drive financial performance, improve processes, and support long-term planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cost accounting analysis across multiple locations, identifying variances and opportunities to enhance profitability and accuracy. Oversee inventory and manufacturing cost analysis, working with operations and supply chain to improve tracking and control. Manage the capital expenditure (CAPEX) process, including ROI modeling, tracking of approved projects, and post-implementation analysis. Drive annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with business goals. Build financial models and perform scenario analyses to support major decisions, including operational improvements and investment strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop performance metrics, dashboards, and KPIs for ongoing business improvement. Evaluate and streamline financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy across departments. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable financial regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in cost accounting, inventory analysis, and operational finance in a multi-site setting. Strong background in CAPEX planning and financial modeling. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and drive cross-functional collaboration. Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience working with ERP systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
