We are searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to take charge of the financial operations of our dynamic, multi-entity business. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulations, prepare insightful financial reports, and deliver strategic insights to support business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Financial Oversight:

Lead and manage all financial operations across multiple business entities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Reporting:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, for each entity; including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, along with consolidated executive reports.

Compliance:

Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards (e.g. GAAP or IFRS) for all entities.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts, while providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.

Internal Controls:

Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accurate financial reporting, and prevent fraud.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Cash Management:

Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and inter-entity transactions to optimize financial performance.

Audit Coordination:

Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth annual audits and full compliance.

Strategic Support:

Partner directly with our owner to deliver financial insights, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support key business decisions.

Systems & Processes:

Implement and drive improvements in financial systems, software, and processes to boost efficiency and accuracy across all entities.

Tax Planning:

Collaborate with tax professionals to develop and execute effective tax strategies, ensuring timely filings and minimizing liabilities.

Qualifications Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

Experience :

7-10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting role overseeing multiple entities.

Skills:

Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in financial software (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communicator; able to present complex financial data clearly and concisely to the owner.

Attributes :

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Preferred :

Experience in multi-entity financial management, consolidations, and intercompany transactions.

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

Competitive, commensurate with experience ($60,000-$80,000)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
