Role Description The VP of Finance position is a strategic role within the finance and accounting department, leading the budgeting and analysis processes, driving financial forecasting, KPI management, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making including M&A activity. The VP of Finance will lead reporting and presentation building with regular reporting to the executive team and investors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced organization in a high-growth mode, providing support of economic decisions about the company’s future in real time. This position will report to the CFO and work closely with the management team. Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Leadership Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and executive team on financial planning, operational efficiency, and growth opportunities. Support the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals. Budgeting & Forecasting Direct and manage the annual budgeting process across all departments. Oversee rolling forecasts and long-range financial planning. Ensure timely, accurate financial projections and variance analysis to support business decisions. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and post-merger integration efforts. Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Collaborate with operations, executive team, and external legal to assess risks and structure transactions. KPI & Performance Management Develop and maintain a robust KPI framework to track financial and operational performance. Drive data-informed decision-making by delivering insightful performance dashboards and trend analyses. Partner with department heads to align KPIs with strategic and operational goals. External Stakeholder Reporting Oversee preparation and delivery of financial presentations for external stakeholders including investors and lenders. Act as the primary point of contact for financial communications with external partners. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a growing or private equity-based company. Strong experience in M&A transactions and financial due diligence Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills
Salary Range:
$130,000-$155,000
