Summary We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team at The Mountain Club on Loon Resort & Spa. This pivotal role will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The Controller will play a key part in supporting our mission of delivering outstanding service and experiences to our guests. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. Oversee cash management processes to maintain optimal liquidity levels. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records. Prepare detailed financial reports for management review. Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Utilize QuickBooks for efficient financial tracking and reporting. Supervise payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in the hospitality industry preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software applications is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
