Job Description
Controller Confidential Londonderry, NH Job Summary Reports to CEO Responsible for directing the effective operation of the Finance and Human Resource functions: Develops, recommends, and establishes new and / or improved financial management operating plans and controls within the organization. Reviews operating budgets, prepares comparative analysis reports Manages AP/AR and Payroll processes Coordinates with HR Manager on benefits to ensure streamlined processes that relate to finance Ensures compliance with documented procedures. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work. Manage the month-end close process.
With an established two-day close. Supervise employees within the Finance department Monitor financial reports and determine ways to reduce the costs Prepare and disseminate financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP. Maintain and update standard cost accounting systems, manage inventory adjustments, and analyze production costs Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and corporate regulations. Lead and mentor an accounting and finance team Facilitate and support internal and external audits. Collaborate with plant management to optimize manufacturing processes, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and enhance profitability. Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.

- Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting, and financial statement analysis.
Ability to lead and mentor a team, communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and present financial information clearly. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP financial software (e.g., Infor Syteline, Macola) Organizational Skills Planning and goal setting Effective communication and forecast planning Good verbal and written communications skills Team Player and positive attitude
- Education and/ or Experience
- BS or BA in Finance 5-7 years Accounting, Manufacturing environment and/or public company within Manufacturing Industry Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
