$120k – 135k
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Controller will manage the daily accounting, close the books and assist in oversight of the accounting operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Manage up to 3 staff in the department.
Manage the inventory of product within the organization.
Handle the monthly closings and reconciliations as the Assistant Controller.
Manage some fixed assets.
Manage quarterly financial reporting.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
10+ years of experience.
Prior work experience in manufacturing, distribution or retail.
Must have hands on experience with inventory accounting.
A team player with a hands-on approach.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
