Our client, a leading player in the foodmanufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and experiencedDirector of Finance to join their team. This role will providefinancial leadership, strategy, and vision in managing theorganization’s financial operations and performance. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspectsof the company, including accounting, credit, risk, tax, treasury,monthly reporting, income statement, merger and acquisitions,annual budgeting and forecasting, year-end close, and accountsreceivable.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement financialstrategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.2. Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting, includingmonthly, quarterly, and annual reports. 3. Manage the company’sfinancial risk, including credit, interest rate, and currency risk.4. Oversee the company’s tax planning and compliance with allfederal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicabletaxes. 5. Manage the company’s treasury function, including cashmanagement, investment, and capital market activities. 6. Lead theannual budgeting and forecasting process, including developingfinancial models and providing financial analysis to supportstrategic decision-making. 7. Oversee the year-end close processand ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financialstatements. 8. Lead and manage the company’s merger and acquisitionactivities, including due diligence, financial modeling, andpost-acquisition integration. 9. Manage the company’s accountsreceivable function, including credit policy and collections. 10.Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditorsand regulatory bodies. 11. Provide leadership and direction to thefinance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning andimprovement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Accounting, or related field is required. An MBA, CPA, orequivalent is highly desirable. 2. Minimum of 5 years ofprogressive financial management experience, preferably in themanufacturing industry. 3. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting,budgeting, and cost control principles, including GenerallyAccepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 4. Experience in managingcredit, risk, tax, treasury, and accounts receivable functions. 5.Proven experience in financial reporting, including preparation offinancial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. 6. Experience inmanaging merger and acquisition activities, including financial duediligence and post-acquisition integration. 7. Strong analyticalskills and experience in creating financial models and conductingfinancial analysis. 8. Excellent leadership and team managementskills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performingfinance team. 9. Strong communication and presentation skills, withthe ability to articulate complex financial information tonon-financial stakeholders. 10.
