Assistant Vice President of Finance / Controller A leadingpublic institution is seeking an Assistant Vice President ofFinance to oversee financial operations and ensure fiscalaccountability. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role willmanage accounting functions, compliance, audits, and the transitionto a new ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strongaccounting background, leadership experience, and a strategicmindset to enhance financial processes and support organizationalgoals. Serve as the primary liaison for externalauditors and lead annual audits with precision. Spearhead themodernization of financial systems , ensuring a seamless transitionto a new ERP platform. Provide leadership and mentorship to financeteam members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

Partner with senior executives to enhance financial efficiency andoptimize resource allocation. What You Bring Extensive financialleadership experience

• 8 years overseeing financial management inlarge nonprofit or public-sector organizations. Educational ⪻ofessional Excellence
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Financerequired; CPA and/or MBA is a plus. Technical Savvy
• Experiencewith ERP systems (Infor Lawson, Workday a plus). Analytical &Strategic Mindset
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting,and government funding compliance. Leadership & Vision
• A trackrecord of leading financial teams, driving change, and mentoringtop talent.
