Controller with Deacom Software Experience!! Position Available In New York, New York

Description We are looking for a Senior Consultant (Controller or Assistant Controller level) who is strong with the Deacom software. The candidate MUST have Deacom software experience, be able to use the system fluidly, and also train other team members. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing essential accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial processes and reports.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and implement budgeting processes to support organizational goals.
• Review and code journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize forex modules and other accounting tools to manage currency transactions effectively.
• Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and improve financial practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting workflows and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support for financial decision-making processes. Requirements
• Strong experience using Deacom software
• Proven experience in accounting, including expertise in AP and AR processes.
• Strong knowledge of auditing practices and principles.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Proficiency in handling forex modules and currency transactions.
• Ability to prepare and analyze detailed financial reports.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
