  • Financial Planning and Forecasting
  • + Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process (including setting timelines, ensuring accuracy and completion), working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and KPIs.

+ Lead the development and maintenance of long-range financial forecasts, identifying trends and potential areas of risk and opportunity. + Working with regions and changing variances, rolling forecasts, deliverables for strategy and innovation, budget, adhoc presentations. Redeveloping the numbers and developing financial projections with key internal audit/accounting teams.

  • Strategic Analysis / Innovation
  • + Provide financial analysis and insights (NPLs, advertising and promotion effectiveness, sell through trends, cannibalization and halo impacts) to support brand strategy and strategic initiatives, investment decisions, business development opportunities, accuracy of future forecasts, and resourcing allocation + Identify profitable growth opportunities by viewing the global brand business from all strategic perspectives: innovation vs.

commercial activities, global vs. regional heroes, core vs. emerging regions, and diversification to high-growth, brand-building channels. + Develop cross business financial analysis of consumer, distribution, category and competitor trends and opportunities.

  • Collaboration & Business Partnership
  • + Work within a highly matrixed structure and partner with the management team, brands, regions, and corporate, to provide value-added insight into the business.

+ Work with Corporate Finance on deliverables such as annual target setting, OPEX initiatives, CAPex, and quarterly external reporting + Collaborate with regional and global teams to align business planning efforts, ensuring agreement on the Long-Range Plan (LRP) through a dynamic exchange of inputs. Partner with global business planning to develop detailed forecasts that are synchronized with financial projections. Work closely with marketing to refine strategies, establish New Product Launch (NPL) guardrails, and adhere to budget guidelines + Present to key leaders (NPR)

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • + Manage robust financial reporting systems to track and analyze key performance metrics against budget and forecast. + Provide support for development of key presentations to the brand and company senior management. (NPR presentations, SIOP) + Conduct Ad-hoc reporting on key business needs in partnership with cross functional teams (SC, IR) SC, IR. Ad-hoc Corporate or Brand Cluster requests.
  • Qualifications
  • + Degree in Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred or equivalent experience.

+ 6-8+ years’ experience in finance and strategy consulting or accounting. + Preferred experience in fast moving consumer products industry. + Strong financial and analytical skills; highly organized. + Must show strong project management, process, and organization skills to manage tight deadlines and multiple deliverables. + Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to work with data efficiently and effectively. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, & presentation skills. + Understanding of advanced financial analysis techniques using spreadsheet software, as well as any specialized financial Forecasting/Estimate software the company may have.
