Competitive salary based on experience Health & dental insurance401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Professionaldevelopment opportunities Job Details Responsibilities 1.Overseeing and managing the overall accounting operations includingthe review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accountsreceivable and statutory reporting. 2. Supervising the accountingdepartment to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination offinancial management reports including, but not limited to,internal and external monthly financial statements, and annualaudits. 3. Managing and tracking the performance of invested assetsin keeping with policies and investment guidelines. 4. Coordinatingthe preparation of the corporate annual report and forecast futurerevenue and expenses. 5. Ensuring the company’s financial systemsare robust, compliant, and support current activities and futuregrowth. 6. Leading and directing budget management; to include theapproval and review of all financial reporting, makerecommendations for changes to keep the company on a healthyfinancial path. 7. Working closely with leadership to driveefficiency and profitability by analyzing business processes andrecommending action steps. 8. Reviewing all month-end closingactivities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheetreconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocation. 9.Enhancing and implementing financial and accounting systems,processes, tools, and control systems. 10. Serving as a key pointof contact for external auditors; manage preparation and support ofall external audits. Qualifications The ideal candidate for thePermanent Controller position will have the followingqualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration or related field. CPA or MBA preferred. 2.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance oraccounting position. 3. Knowledge of finance, accounting,budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally AcceptedAccounting Principles (GAAP). 4. Experience with revenuerecognition, WIP, project accounting, and financial reporting. 5.Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achievingresults. 6. Knowledge of automated financial and accountingreporting systems. 7. Ability to analyze financial data and preparefinancial reports, statements, and projections. 8. Workingknowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rollingbudgets, and product-line profitability analysis. 9. Strongorganizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-pacedenvironment. 10. Excellent communication and leadership skills aremandatory.
