VP, Finance & StrategyWe are at an inflection point as we scale towards $250M ARR andchart our course toward continued hyper-growth and potential IPOreadiness. The VP of Finance & Strategy will be a pivotal force inleading and scaling the companys financial planning, forecasting,and strategic finance functions. This leader will serve as athought partner to the CFO, CEO, and executive team, drivingfinancial rigor, capital efficiency, and business insight duringthis critical next phase of the company’s evolution. - Lead at Scale
- Build and mentor a world-class finance andstrategy team, capable of supporting a growing, global SaaSorganization.
- Drive Operational and Financial Excellence
- Elevate financial forecasting, capital allocation, and scenarioplanning to ensure optimized decision-making across the business.
- Deliver IPO Readiness
- Develop and operationalize a roadmap forpotential and future public company readiness, including financialcontrols, regulatory compliance, and investor relations support.
- Act as a True Business Partner
- Provide actionable insights andstrategic counsel to the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership team,influencing key business decisions and helping drive enterprisevalue creation.
- Champion Automation and Systems
- Streamlinefinancial operations by leveraging best-in-class systems, analyticstools, and automation to scale efficiently.
What success lookslike:
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CFO and CEO,helping shape company-wide strategy with data-driven insights.
- Own long-range financial planning, ensuring alignment with companystrategy, market dynamics, and investor expectations.
- Build anddevelop a high-performing Finance & Strategy team, fostering aculture of accountability, development, and excellence.
- Leadcompany-wide capital allocation strategy, focusing on capitalefficiency and risk mitigation as the company scales.
- Establishand execute the IPO-readiness roadmap, including the implementationof financial controls, regulatory readiness, and capital marketsengagement.
- Partner with Product, GTM, and Operations leaders tosupport pricing strategy, business model optimization, and uniteconomics.
- Drive financial automation and continuous improvementacross forecasting, reporting, and decision-support processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors and executiveleadership on critical financial and strategic matters.
Attributesof our ideal hire:
- 15 years of progressive experience in Finance,with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Ability toroll-up your sleeves and dive into the weeds; comfortable operatingat both 30,000 feet and ground level—willing to lead from the frontand get into the details when necessary.
- Significant experiencein high-growth SaaS companies, ideally at or beyond the $500M ARRstage, with direct exposure to IPO processes or public companyoperations.
- Exceptional financial modeling, scenario planning,and forecasting expertise, with a command of SaaS metrics and KPIs.
- Proven leadership track record in building and scaling FP&Aand Strategic Finance functions, coupled with operational rigor andpeople-first management skills.
- A strategic operator who canbalance big-picture thinking with strong execution.
- History ofinfluencing executive teams and Boards, with sound judgment and theability to distill complexity into clear, actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of enterprise software go-to-market strategies,customer acquisition models, and SaaS unit economics.
- Experiencewith capital markets activities, including investor relations,equity raises, and IPO preparation.
- Proficiency in financialsystems and automation tools to enhance visibility, efficiency, andaccuracy in reporting. You’ll stand out if you have:
- Successfullyled financial planning at a company that completed a successfulIPO.
- Expertise in business model optimization and pricingstrategy within SaaS.
- Experience guiding companies throughmultiple stages of growth and transformation.
