Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail oriented experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. Your role will include day to day strategic financial and transactional functions, utilizing business acumen and experience with NetSuite and Shopify, Excel and other accounting and retail platforms. This position is an in-person full time role in our Charleston, SC corporate headquarters.

Role and Responsibilities:

Review and approve invoices Process vendor payments and manage relationships with financial vendors Maintain tax documentation and assist with preparation and filing of business tax documents Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, expense reimbursements, and month-end close. Ensure compliance with GAAP and legal industry accounting standards. Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements. Assist in developing and implementing internal financial policies and procedures. Establish and maintain financial reporting and budgeting standards. Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to support senior management decisions. Working Hours & Benefits Position will be located at 1445 Greenleaf Rd, Charleston, SC 29405. Qualifications/Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 4+ years of relevant senior level accounting or financial controller experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles. Proficiency in accounting software and adaptability to new systems. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical financial practices. NetSuite experience desired Shopify experience preferred Must be willing to authorize a pre-employment background check
