Charleston Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY
Tracks, records, files and analyses voyage expenses accounts and their related financial data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Ensures accuracy in principal cost estimation and timely submission of provisional expenses. Collaborates with other departments to ensure on time and accurate daily posting of operational vendor expenses. Verifies principal costs debited against the provisional expenses reported and justify for the variances. Estimates and analyzes principal expenses with the aim of reducing costs and achieve savings. Identifies and initiates improvement areas, developing accounting control procedures and best practices to enhance overall accounting operations, work quality and efficiency. Observes and follows company policies, compliances, and procedures. Record-keeps and reports in a structured and organized matter. Re-confirms Cost Control approval or rejects blocked invoices with amounts over budget. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Minimum 1-2 years industry experience Lean six sigma certification Data analytics experience/knowledge Working knowledge of Power BI Programming experience, preferably Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
