VP Finance Hampton Strategies, LLC Charleston, SC 29403 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive the financial strategy of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong fiscal management skills and a deep understanding of corporate finance principles. This leadership role requires an individual who can interpret financial reports, oversee general ledger accounting, and ensure accurate account reconciliation while fostering a culture of financial acumen across the organization. Responsibilities Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. Oversee all aspects of fiscal management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Manage the general ledger accounting process to ensure accuracy and compliance with IAS standards. Conduct thorough account reconciliations to maintain integrity in financial records. Analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations for business improvements. Collaborate with senior management to support corporate finance initiatives and investment strategies. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to finance and accounting practices. Experience Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Vice President or similar position. Extensive knowledge of fiscal management principles, corporate finance, and general ledger accounting practices. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, forecasting, and financial report interpretation. Familiarity with International Accounting Standards (IAS) is preferred. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on strategic decision-making. Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams effectively.
