We specialize in land development engineering, site planning, entitlements and program management.

Position Overview:

The Financial Controller will serve as the lead member of the Cross Engineering Services Finance team, primarily overseeing the financial operations of the company. This role requires an innovative thinker who drives financial system improvements, system integration with accounting and project management teams and provides exceptional leadership within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage CES accounting staff and consultants. Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable. Actively pursue collections on past due invoices. Document contracts/addendums within accounting system. Assist Project Management team with weekly project budget tracking. Prepare and distribute accurate quarterly financial statements. Reconcile bank accounts on a quarterly basis. Assist in developing and implementing internal financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 6+ years of relevant accounting or financial experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software and adaptability to Quickbooks. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical financial practices. Prior experience in a professional services industry is highly preferred. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
