Your Health is seeking a highly skilled and strategic AVP of Revenue Management to oversee key financial functions that drive revenue optimization within our primary care practice. This individual will play a critical role in revenue cycle management, payer contracting, CPT coding accuracy, and accounts receivable (A/R) oversight. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial strategies, payer negotiations, and reimbursement methodologies, ensuring that Your Health remains competitive in today’s evolving healthcare landscape

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Management & Strategy In-tandem with the VP of Revenue Strategy develop and implement revenue opportunities that optimize reimbursement and align with Your Health’s financial objectives. Analyze and improve revenue cycle performance, ensuring efficient billing, coding, and collections processes. Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost containment. Payer Contracting & Negotiations Lead and manage payer contracting efforts, including negotiating rates and terms to secure competitive reimbursement. Establish and maintain strong relationships with payer organizations to optimize financial performance. Develop a routine schedule for contract renegotiation, ensuring alignment with industry trends and rate benchmarks. Maintain a comprehensive database of all payer agreements, including reimbursement terms and compliance requirements. CPT Coding & Compliance Ensure proper coding practices are followed, maximizing reimbursement while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. Monitor and implement coding updates and changes, providing education to internal teams on best practices. Work closely with billing and clinical teams to reduce denials and enhance claims accuracy. Accounts Receivable (A/R) & Financial Oversight Oversee A/R management, ensuring timely claims processing and collections. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial health, including days in A/R, denial rates, and payer reimbursement trends. Collaborate with finance leadership on budgeting, financial forecasting, and revenue cycle optimization. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting Ensure all revenue management activities comply with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations. Provide regular financial and operational reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance, highlighting revenue trends, payer performance, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:
Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, payer contracting, or financial operations within a primary care or healthcare setting.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of CPT coding, payer negotiations, A/R management, and revenue cycle best practices.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication abilities. Expertise in healthcare financial analytics and revenue cycle KPIs. Proficiency in contract management and financial modeling. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

Other:

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and financial teams to drive revenue growth.
