The Director of Asset Management (Self Storage) will oversee the strategic management and operational performance of our self-storage portfolio. This role is responsible for enhancing asset value, maximizing revenue, and ensuring the effective management of storage facilities while aligning with the company’s objectives. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement asset management strategies for self-storage properties
Monitor and analyze financial performance and reporting for storage units
Lead and manage property managers and operational teams to ensure high performance
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
Coordinate with marketing teams to optimize occupancy rates and revenue generation
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies across all facilities
Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding portfolio performance and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the self-storage industry
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting
Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Familiarity with market trends in the self-storage sector
Ability to develop strategies that drive profitability and operational efficiency
