As the Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our manufacturing operations. This position will provide key support to the plant manager while reporting directly to the Finance Director. You will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting functions, analyzing production costs, and providing insights to optimize operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Develop and monitor KPIs to analyze production costs, identify areas for cost savings, and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the manufacturing operations. Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation. Collaborate with manufacturing and finance teams to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the manufacturing division. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing operations. Experience working with large ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Must Have – Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation is a plus. 3+ years of experience in cost accounting and financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Need to have SAP and MES experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
