Director of Finance Position Available In Sumter, South Carolina

Director of Finance Jet-Vac Equipment Company LLC Sumter, SC 29154 Jet-Vac Equipment Company is looking for a Director of Finance to work in our corporate office in Sumter, SC. This individual will be responsible for managing the Finance Department by supervising 4 accounting team members and meeting all financial deadlines and goals as assigned by the President of the Company.

Job Duties:

Financial Strategy Development:

Ability to create and implement long-term financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. 2.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Expertise in developing accurate budgets and financial forecasts to guide business decisions. 3.

Cash Flow Management:

Proficiency in managing cash flow to ensure the company maintains adequate liquidity for operations and growth. 4.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Skills in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. 5.

Risk Management:

Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks to protect the company’s assets. 6.

Capital Structure Management:

Knowledge of capital financing strategies, including debt and equity management, to optimize the company’s capital structure. 7.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with board members, and other stakeholders regarding financial performance and strategy. 8.

Team Leadership and Development:

Ability to lead and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance by meeting financial deadlines for the President to operate the company at the highest efficiency. 9.

Regulatory Compliance:

Understanding financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the industry to ensure adherence and avoid penalties to include Sales Tax in multiple states. 10.

Technology Integration:

Familiarity with financial technologies and systems that enhance reporting, analysis, and operational efficiency. 11. Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Responsibilities – Closing the month by the 5th business day with Financial Statements and Commissions completed by the 15th, filing the monthly Sales Taxes, filing Business Licenses every April, yearly audits, Etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field required. CPA required, Master’s degree preferred, Minimum of 10 years’ experience required as a CFO/Director of Accounting in a Business with Multiple States.
