Finance Director 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 590 Main St, Jacksboro, TN 37757 Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, investment management, and compliance management. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business development while ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards. The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, managing risks, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making. Responsibilities Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization’s goals. Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Manage investment portfolios to optimize returns while minimizing risks. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including IAS and IFRS. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records. Perform risk analysis to identify potential financial challenges and opportunities. Collaborate with other departments to support business development initiatives. Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance their skills and performance. Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders regarding financial performance. Skills Excellent communication skills Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills Experience in county accounting or finance with supervisory experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or two-year commensurate experience.
