Antioch Pike, Nashville, TN 37211 Electronics Renewal, LLC dba The Goldie Group has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller supporting our Nashville, TN location. This dynamic and fast-paced light manufacturing and logistics organization helps our clients manage trade-in and buy-back programs in the mobile device industry. This role will support the CFO in various accounting and financial duties, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will also assist with internal controls, audits, and the development of accounting policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and analyzing financial trends Internal Controls & Audits
• Coordinating and reviewing external audit activities Compliance
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulations (e.g., SOX), and internal policies Cost Analysis
• Performing variance analysis and analyzing costs looking for ways to improve efficiency General Ledger
• Ensure an accurate and timely daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end close Reporting
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including financial statements and budgets

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent business-related degree Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Accuracy and precision in financial reporting Experience with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks) Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
