Assistant Controller Location:

Remote in EST or CST time zones only. Must have Acumatica software experience and healthcare to be considered.

Position Overview:

The Assistant Controller will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company. This position will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions. Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial statements. Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance CPA or CMA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the healthcare industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations. Proficiency in Acumatica software is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
