Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. This position will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting. The Controller will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other department heads to support the financial health and strategic goals of Michael Dunn Center.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Manage the organization’s general ledger and ensure accurate and timely closing of financial periods. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control. Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support organizational planning. Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eager and self-motivated with a proactive approach to work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
