Assistant Controller Position Available In Williamson, Tennessee

Description Our quickly growing client looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join their team in Brentwood, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial operations, including month-end processes, intercompany transactions, and revenue assurance. This is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage month-end close processes, including reviews and checklists.
• Handle intercompany transactions and ensure accurate accounting for related activities.
• Ensure compliance with revenue assurance procedures, maintaining financial accuracy.
• Maintain and support internal controls, including adherence to SOX requirements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and review financial data for accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to support large-scale financial operations.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
• Provide support for audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and US GAAP standards. Requirements
• Proven experience in financial operations within large enterprise organizations.
• Strong knowledge of

GAAP, US

GAAP, and SOX compliance.

• Expertise in month-end close processes, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions and revenue assurance practices.
• Proficiency in using mid-sized ERP/financial software systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage complex financial data.
