The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management within an educational context. This role is essential for ensuring the effective operation of our educational services, aligning them with our organizational goals, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Duties :
Oversee budgeting, financial management, and cost control to ensure efficient use of resources. Conduct financial report interpretation to provide insights into program performance and areas for improvement. Manage accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, account reconciliation, and accrual accounting. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all financial reporting and accounting practices. Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies. Monitor program effectiveness through assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as necessary. Lead investment management strategies to support long-term sustainability of educational initiatives. Foster partnerships with external organizations to enhance educational opportunities and resources. Qualifications Strong skills in financial management, including cost accounting, general ledger reconciliation, and investment management. Knowledge of GAAP principles and experience in financial report interpretation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports all students. A degree in education administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
