Salary:
$50K•60K + full benefits We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our team and assist Underwriters in daily operations. This position will be working out of our Jacksonville, FL office. What You Will Be Doing As an Underwriting Assistant on our team, you will assist the Underwriting team in daily tasks as needed, including: process policy changes or renewal policies
assist underwriters in the preparation of new and renewal business (preparation of file information, proper documentation, insured requests and filing information within systems)
set up new accounts, maintain broker and client relationships generate certificates of insurance
prepare and run standard and various reports for the Underwriting Department
What You Need for this
Position Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ability to accurately enter data into processing systems and insurance information systems (underwriting, billing, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and Adobe So, if you are a Underwriting Assistant with experience, please apply today!
