Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Underwri ting Assistant to join our growing tea m in Char lotte, NC ! Under guidance of a supervisor or manager, the Underwriting Assistant’s primary responsibilities service support for both the commercial and personals departments
How You Will Contribute:
Pro vides administrative support to all departments. Maintains spreadsheets for items such as employee directory, carrier commission changes, and employee license compliance. Directs incoming calls or voicemails to ap pro priate party . Receives all mail and packages. Scans and distributes all incoming mail. Reviews and forwards all incoming checks to lockbox or return to sender. Reviews and creates tasks for items received in general email boxes. Pro cesses policies, endorsements, audits, notices and other tasks for all Underwriting/Sales Tea m s. Receives and pro cesses all urgent or missing policy and endorsement requests. Pro vides reports for policy renewals, invoice checklists and others as needed. Assists Underwriting/Sales tea m s with issuing non-renewals/conditional renewals as warranted by carrier guidelines. Assists with internal self-audits to ensure compliance with states, carriers and Brown & Brown. Performs additional duties as assigned by the office and Service Tea m Leaders.
