POSITION SUMMARY
The
UNDERWRITING ASSISTANT
is responsible for providing administrative support to Underwriting team, including monitoring email correspondence, and completing administrative tasks to expedite the underwriting process.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyzes submissions for companies. Prices and sells the program internally and externally. Utilizes technology to compute rates and premiums for all endorsements and cancellations, verifies and transmits information and monitors renewals. Gathers and investigates background information to effectively assess the risk involved. Services all accounts, including resolving agents’ inquires, complaints, requests and policy processing.
