The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques and a commitment to providing holistic care to patients. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective acupuncture therapy to alleviate pain and promote overall wellness. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history. Administer acupuncture treatments using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately target acupuncture points for optimal results. Implement pain management strategies, including trigger point therapy, for acute and chronic conditions. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes. Educate patients about the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on complementary therapies for enhanced wellness. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Experience Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Experience in pain management techniques, particularly acute pain management, is preferred. Familiarity with patient assessment protocols and physical examinations is beneficial. Proven ability to apply aseptic techniques in a clinical setting is necessary.
