Duties:

• Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans
• Administer acupuncture treatments to patients using sterile needles and aseptic technique
• Provide patient education on the benefits of acupuncture and its potential effects
• Utilize trigger point therapy techniques to address specific areas of pain or discomfort
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice acupuncture in the state
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management principles
• Experience in acute pain management and pediatrics is preferred
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to create a comfortable and supportive environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
