Licensed Acupuncturist(Bilingual English & Chinese) 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 98 East Broadway, New York, NY 10002 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist . The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English to serve our predominantly Chinese-speaking patient base. This role involves assessing patient needs, creating personalized treatment plans, and applying acupuncture to alleviate pain and promote wellness. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs. Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Administer acupuncture treatments using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Utilize trigger point therapy and other modalities as part of pain management strategies. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on wellness practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture practices and related medical knowledge. Experience Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required. Strong background in patient service, with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge is essential. Experience in conducting physical examinations and understanding pain management techniques is preferred. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and trigger point therapy will be advantageous.
Qualifications:
