Acupuncture Associate Rock Hill Acupuncture & Wellness 1550 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 Acupuncture Associate Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed Acupuncturist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Chinese medicine and acupuncture techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patients’ needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering acupuncture and related therapies to address a variety of medical conditions. Our Practice Rock Hill Acupuncture & Wellness was established in 2021. We see patients for pain management, fertility, women’s health, digestive, neurological, and autoimmune conditions. Acupuncturists will have access to four treatment rooms each shift and are encouraged to treat multiple patients per hour. We employ front desk staff to answer phones, schedule patients, take payment and reset treatment rooms to allow you time to focus on patient care. We have a well stocked patent herbal pharmacy. There are three massage therapists who also work in the office, and good referral relationships are in place from area physicians and providers. There is an opportunity to become a credentialed provider through Veterans Affairs and receive referrals as part of the VA Community Care Network. We strive to provide the best care in a professional and caring manner and focus on long-term relationships with patients to affect lasting change. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history. Administer acupuncture treatments that ensure patient safety and follow clean needle technique. Utilize various modalities, including dry needling, e-stim, cupping, gua sha, and Chinese herbal medicine Use Jane EHR to document patient progress accurately, generate superbills, schedule appointments, and take payment. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on post-treatment care. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Engage in marketing via social media and community events. Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients. Proficient in effective pain management and fertility techniques Strong assessment skills to evaluate patient conditions effectively. Licenses and Certifications SC Acupuncture License NCCAOM certification CCAOM Clean needle technique Position and Compensation Flexible schedule, no requirement to work nights or weekends Pay based on commission from services provided. Commission rate based on experience. Planned opportunities for bonuses and raises. Location Our office is located in the growing city of Rock Hill in northern South Carolina, 25 miles south of Charlotte, NC. There is a significant population of retirees and younger professionals who are both transplants to the area from the north and midwest, as well as lifelong locals. Rock Hill is home to Winthrop University, a historic downtown, and is close to outdoor recreation along the Catawba river and Lake Wylie. Our office is on a busy street that is home to many local businesses such as real estate, dental, legal, and chiropractic offices.
