Position Summary
As a Minor League Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing medical care, injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for Minor League players. This role involves collaborating with the Minor League Medical Coordinator, strength and conditioning staff, and coaches to ensure the health and performance of players. An interprofessional collaborative spirit, effective multidiscipline communication, relationship building through a foundation of trust, and a player-centered approach to healthcare are essential for success in this position. Essential Functions
Provide daily injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services for Minor League players.
Conduct player evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with MLB and team health protocols.
Collaborate with team physicians and medical staff to manage injuries and recovery plans.
Assist in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs.
Educate players on health, nutrition, and injury prevention strategies.
Travel with the assigned Minor League affiliate and provide medical coverage for all games and activities.
Report injury status and updates to the Minor League Medical Coordinator and front office personnel. Our Values We Are Great Teammates

Always trying to think three steps ahead. Skill Requirements Proficiency in MLB Electronic Medical Record System (AthleteRMS)
Strong knowledge of sports medicine, injury prevention, and rehabilitation techniques.
Experience with injury evaluation, treatment, and return-to-play protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in medical documentation and injury tracking software.
Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, medical staff, and front office personnel.
Familiarity with MLB and MiLB health and safety protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Education & Experience Guidelines Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification (BOC).
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the state of employment.
Experience in athletic training, preferably in professional or collegiate baseball preferred.
Experience working with high-performance athletes in a structured sports environment preferred. Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Willingness to travel extensively during the season.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
