Certified Athletic Trainer
to join our Athletics Department beginning in the 2025-2026 School Year

Reports to:
Director of Athletics Work Schedule:
24 hours per week including nights and weekends, 4-5 days weekly
based on team schedules and as determined by Athletic Director
Salary/Benefits:
$40,000-$45,000 commensurate with experience, benefits eligible

Job Goal:
The Associate Athletic Trainer (ATC-2) position administers athletic training services in the secondary school AT clinic in collaboration with ATC-1, and under the supervision of the team physician and Athletic Director. These services include, but are not limited to: screenings, injury prevention programs, athletic performance consults, emergency first response, acute and chronic injury assessment, treatment and case management of injured student-athletes and those undergoing rehabilitation. This position frequently attends practices and competitions for middle school and high school athletics and helps support the ATC-1 in event/practice coverage.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field of study from a CAATE accredited college or university.
National Athletic Trainers’ Board of Certification (BOC) Certificate.
Licensed Athletic Trainer and in good standing with MA Board of Allied Health Professionals Current CPR/AED Certificate
Nights and weekend hours are required
CORI and Fingerprinting:
All appointments are conditional based on a satisfactory CORI and SAFIS Background Check per 603 CMR 51.00
Mobility, strength, visual and auditory acuity adequate for immediate response to patients’ needs and rapid response to emergency situations. Proven ability to collaborate, effectively communicate, and work independently
CENTRAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Athletic Trainer is not responsible for supervising any staff members.
