Collegiate Sports The Assistant Athletic Trainer provide athletic training services to University of Maine student-athletes and assist in the operation of the sports medicine center. Typical hiring range for this position is $42,745 to $43,278.86 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s preferred. Must meet State of Maine AT licensure standards. NATA Certified. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Computer proficiency required. Previous experience using independent judgment and managing and imparting confidential information required. Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds required. Ability to travel, normally requiring a valid driver’s license. 2 years as a collegiate athletic trainer preferred, preferably at NCAA Division I level. Graduate assistantships and internships will be acceptable years of experience.
