• Position Summary
• Recognizes, manages, and rehabilitates injuries to professional, amateur and recreational athletes. Provides techniques for prevention of injuries and instructs/trains on safe exercise techniques.
• Reports to:
• Rehab Services Director
• Responsibilities of the Position
• Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician.

Prepares athletes/patients for practice or competition.

Evaluates and manages injuries and determines whether a referral is necessary. Maintains a medical file on each athletes/patients and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athletes/patients.

Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes/patients.

Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Certifications/Licenses
• Athletic Training certification/BOC certified and state certification or registration is required.

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification with the American Heart Association is required within 2 weeks of hire.
