Job Description

Job Summary The certified athletic trainer serves as a physician extender in the primary care, primary care sports medicine, and/or orthopaedic clinical setting. The certified athletic trainer specializes in the delivery of high quality health care to patients of all ages and athletes of all skill levels. The certified athletic trainer is certified by the Board of Certification (NATA BOC) and is licensed to practice athletic training in the state of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Training Examiners (NCBATE). The certified athletic trainer promotes the Novnat Health System within his/her own entity as well as through community outreach initiatives. The certified athletic trainer within the health system serves as an integral part of the healthcare delivery team. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate from an accredited athletic training program. Graduate Degree, preferred.

Experience:

Two years preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Current AT licensure in appropriate state with the ability to acquire additional state licenses as required. Successfully pass
