This position will work collaboratively with our Athletic Team Physician and Senior Associate Athletics Director/Sports Medicine to carry out methods of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries for student-athletes within their assigned sport. The assistant athletic trainer will follow the policies and procedures for the athletic training staff and facilities as established by the Senior Associate Athletics Director/Sports Medicine. Minimum and Additional Requirements Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree. Strongly prefer athletic training experience in Division I institution. Additional Comments Certified through NATA. Other certifications in applicable areas encouraged.
