Associate Head Athletic Trainer Administration Advertising/Posting Title Associate Head Athletic Trainer Administration
Posting Summary Provide leadership for Athletic Medicine Services in collaboration with Head Athletic Trainers and Team Physician. Provide support for staff, planning, program evaluation, budget, and management for all aspects of the program. Act as liaison for Club Sports Athletic Training Services. Responsible for biannual inventory, emergency bag management, and monthly medication formulary. Responsible for new staff onboarding. Responsible for hiring and management of student workers. Promote a safe Center for Health and Wellbeing for students and staff of all races, ethnicity, religious, national origins, gender sexual orientations, disabilities, and ages. Support the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, Division of Student Affairs, and the University of Vermont. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Master’s degree in Athletic Training related field, BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and registered and licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Vermont required. One to three years of high-level competitive college, professional, or equivalent experience required. Experience in policy management, staff education, student athletic training programs, and high-level contact sports. Basic understanding of electronic health records. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to health care of student-athletes. Knowledge, skills, and experience working with diverse populations. Desirable Qualifications Anticipated Pay Range $69,000-$73,000
Other Information Special Conditions Open to current UVM employees only , Weekend work required, Non-standard work hours required, Bargaining unit position, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
