Position Details Advertising/Posting Title Associate Head Athletic Trainer Education Posting Summary Provide leadership for Athletic Medicine Services in collaboration with Head Athletic Trainers and Team Physician. Provide support for staff, planning, program evaluation, budget, and management for all aspects of the program. Responsible for staff education, in-services, and quality improvement projects. Responsible for management and training for point of care labs. Assist in maintenance of policies and procedures including emergency action plans. Promote a safe Center for Health and Wellbeing for students and staff of all races, ethnicity, religious, national origins, gender sexual orientations, disabilities and ages. Support the mission and philosophy of the CHWB , Division of Student Affairs, and the University of Vermont. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Master’s degree in Athletic Training related field, BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and registered and licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Vermont required. One to three years of high-level competitive college, professional, or equivalent experience required. Experience in policy management, staff education, student athletic training programs, and high-level contact sports. Basic understanding of electronic health records. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to health care of student-athletes. Knowledge, skills, and experience working with diverse populations.
