Responsibilities:
Administers articulation, voice rhythm, hearing, and language examinations; conducts diagnostic evaluations of a variety of speech and/or hearing examinations; makes recommendations for the development of special therapy programs to improve communication skills of patients; organizes and conducts group and individual therapeutic sessions utilizing a variety of speech and/or hearing equipment; prepares and maintains testing, evaluation, and progress records for participants in the speech and hearing therapy program; prepares written reports of patients receiving treatments; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; performs related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama or completion of a master’s degree in audiology(prior to January 1, 2007) as an audiologist, certificate of Clinical Competence in audiology and licensure with the state of Alabama in audiology.
