Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide clinical instruction and supervision of the audiology clinical activities for undergraduate students acquiring observation and practicum experience, and act as a clinical preceptor for doctoral students in the Auburn Au.
D. program who are acquiring practicum experience in the Auburn Montgomery clinic. Provide and coordinate direct and comprehensive audiological testing and evaluation services to patients; determine need for and administer appropriate tests and measures, correctly assess test results, plan and carry out habilitative/rehabilitative care of patients as needed. Evaluate, fit, program, and dispense state of the art hearing aids and amplification systems appropriately to patient candidates, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs of hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Counsel patients and their families regarding evaluation results and plan of care. Document all clinical patient interactions, including evaluation, treatment and consultation recommendations and ensure that these reports are signed and placed appropriately in patient charts. Document student goals and assessments of their skills. Ensure work areas are organized and present a safe, accessible, and efficient environment for patients, their family members and employees. Complete necessary continuing education activity to maintain an Alabama license to practice audiology. Attend required program meetings. Participate in/organize community education and outreach.

Minimum Qualifications:
