Audiologist Gardner Audiology 6615 Gunn Highway, Tampa, FL 33625 Gardner Audiology, one of Florida’s premier Gulf Coast private practices, is seeking an Audiologist based in our Tampa, FL clinic. The Audiologist hired will see patients predominantly in Tampa, with possible coverage in other nearby locations as needed. Experienced providers given special consideration, but will mentor less experienced doctors. Gardner Audiology is a well-established hearing healthcare company. We put patient service before hearing aid sales. Our mission is to help everyone hear their best, regardless of budget. Our motto is ‘See a Doctor of Audiology team, not a Salesman’. We are a provider for most insurances and 3rd party plans. We are Tele-Audiology pioneers, with 9 locations in West Central Florida. Our audiologists have the support of technicians and Audiology Assistants. We want an audiologist who’s looking for some autonomy as part of a provider team that communicates weekly. Salary is negotiable and based on experience; liability insurance coverage, licensure fees, continuing education, health insurance, growth bonuses, and IRA matching is offered. Relocation assistance will be provided for a motivated candidate. Audiology doctorate degree or master’s degree in Audiology required. Active Florida state license (or ability to become licensed in Florida) required.
Core Responsibilities:
Performs all functions of an Audiologist under scope of practice including comprehensive hearing tests, hearing aid consultations, hearing aid fittings using real-ear measurements, follow-ups, adjustments. Tele-Audiology participation (within clinics) Oversees operations in your clinic, including clear communication with support staff, review of daily schedule Creates detailed, compliant outcome notes using SOAP format Follows all HIPAA and PHI guidelines and best practices Works hand-in-hand with support team to provide excellent customer service Participates in manufacturer trainings, continuing education classes
