The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders, providing expert care to patients of all ages. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide ongoing support throughout their hearing journey. The Audiologist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough audiometric evaluations to assess hearing levels Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient assessments. Fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and device usage. Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience. Collaborate with physicians to ensure integrated care for patients. Stay updated on advancements in audiology practices and technologies. Skills Proficient in using computerized systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Sales skills to effectively discuss and promote hearing aids and related products. Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology related to the auditory system. Excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.
