Job Description

Category Schools – Audiologist Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in audiology to support students in an educational setting. This role involves providing essential services three days per week for the extended school year and into the 2025-2026 academic year. The primary focus will be on meeting the audiological needs of elementary students, ensuring they receive the appropriate support for their development and learning.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Audiology Valid state licensure as an audiologist Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff Experience with hearing assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Milton, FL Responsibilities:

Provide audiological evaluations and consultations to students Collaborate with educational staff to identify and support student needs Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding student eligibility Ensure proper maintenance and tracking of audiology equipment
