Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a contract/1099 AUDIOLOGIST to perform evaluations for America’s Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration’s Medical Disability Examinations process (also referred to as Compensation and Pension Exams). The

AUDIOLOGIST

will conduct audiometry, speech, and immittance testing, record the results in the portal, and write an opinion if requested. This process provides the support that allows the VA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement). The ideal

AUDIOLOGIST

candidate is able to see up to 24 Veterans per week (days and hours are flexible, such as 8 Vets 3 days per week or 6 Vets 4 days per week). There are no hearing aids, no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf.

CREDENTIALING and

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Audiology Current Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume. Current ASHA, AAA, or ADA Certification. Current and unrestricted state practitioner’s license (any state) Have privacy and a dedicated room with a door to conduct telehealth exams. Have your own laptop to conduct exams at home and at the office. Credentialing application must be completed within 24 of job offer. Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet local, state, and federal standards or policies.
